On the 2nd of April 2022, the Penrith Singers held a Come and Sing event which focused on the Oratorio 'The Crucifixion' composed by John Stainer.
It was a great success and enjoyed by the choir and the audience alike.
A huge thank you to the soloists, Paul im Thurn and Adam Crewe, to the organist John Cooper Green, to the choir soloists Charles and George, to the committee members for helping organise and make the event run smoothly, and to Ed Taylor for conducting and bringing all these parts together.
Another thank you is owed to Booths who kindly provided hot cross buns for those taking part in the event.
