A group of some 20 members of Penrith Singers went on a singing walk in Lowther Park on a circuit linking Lowther Castle and Askham Hall on Sunday, 22nd September 2019.
We stopped to perform at both Askham Hall’s Kitchen Garden Café and Lowther Castle's Courtyard Café a variety of madrigals and folk songs, conducted by our assistant musical director, Heather Tomlinson.
We raised just over £165, shared between the local charity 'Penrith and Eden Syrian Council for Refugees' and Penrith Singers.
