Charity Singing in the Lake District

On the 30th July 2022, some of the members of Penrith Singers braved the rain to sing outside at Howtown.

The group of singers, led by Heather Tomlinson, sang a variety of traditional songs in aid of the Great North Air Ambulance as well as funds for the choir. The total amount raised was £179.19

The singing took place near the very picturesque Howtown Pier and then moved into the tearoom at the Howtown Hotel. Thank you to Howtown Hotel for letting us sing in their tearoom
