Carol Singing 2021

Despite the rain and wind, some of the Penrith Singers members took part in the tradition of carol singing that had been unable to go ahead in 2020.

Instead of singing in Angel Square, the choir met in New Squares to ensure everyone was safe and socially distanced.

The weather was appalling but the choir sounded in good form and even managed to have an audience stay and watch the whole performance!

The charity the choir chose to raise money for was Hospice at Home, Carlisle and North Lakeland and the amount raised was £134 which was excellent considering the weather.
