When and where?

02 Dec 2023, 19:30 – 22:20

Penrith, St Andrews Church, Penrith, CA11 7XX

The Messiah is one of the most famous and best-loved choral works and it will be the first time we have performed it in full since 2014.

Our musical director, Edward Taylor, will conduct the performance and the soloists are Jessica Leary (soprano), Joe Bolger (counter-tenor), Philip O’Connor (tenor) and Adam Marsden (baritone). Organist Jordan English and a full orchestra will provide the accompaniment.

Penrith Singers are very grateful to have been awarded a grant from the Westmorland and Furness Council’s Arts and Culture Development Fund, in support of what promises to be a very exciting concert.

Tickets are £18 (£16 in advance), students £8 (£6 in advance) and under 12’s free of charge.

Tickets can be purchased from members of the choir in advance.

The performance will take place at St Andrew's Church, Penrith. Doors open from 7pm and the performance begins at 7.30pm.

There will be an interval and the performance will end around 10.15pm.
